When I buy a book, I’m not just buying a book. I’m buying a smell, something to hug, someone whose pages turn almost silently as I read. I’m buying a friend. I just don’t think you would become as attached to the book if it was online. Personally, I just love the feel of books and I think that we as a society would lose out on something if we stopped producing books.
