In fact, even men are told that they need contacts to be attractive in film. There are countless ‘make-over’ films where the main character is thought to be ugly until they ditch the glasses. Why?
Some people can’t ditch the glasses. Some people have sensitive eyes. Or other issues. Why should they be constantly told that wearing eye glasses makes them unattractive?
This is bothering me.
Thank you, Flint Lockwood, for sending a message that says you can be who you are and still be beautiful. Even with eyeglasses or bushy hair or braces or being chubby or whatever other imperfections we may have.
